Great for baking nerds, Princess nerds, math nerds, pie nerds and those that like to consume pie. In celebration of the number π (/paɪ/) a mathematical constant and "pi day". We will learn to bake apple pie and feast on the ratio of a circle circumference baked to a golden brown piefection. With a pinch of princess pixie dust added! What you will need materials - Pie Pan - 9"-10" - Glass, ceramic, metal or tin (glass is recommended) - Rolling Pin - Pastry Cutter - Measuring Cups - Measuring Spoons - Peeler - Knife - Metal or Glass bowls - Sauce Pan What you will need ingredients; - 2 and 1/4 Cups of Flour - Salt - 2 Cups of butter Unsalted - 8-9 Granny Smith Apples - Apple pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, ginger) - 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar - 2-3 Tablespoons Corn Starch - Water and Ice Cubes This event is suitable for all ages although some younger participants will need help with certain steps.
