This is the first ever iteration of a brand new event called Group Mad Libs!

Essentially, we'll each take turns contributing to a screenplay. Your host, Michael, will jot everything down, so all you need to worry about is providing the ideas! When it's your turn, you'll have a minute to think of whatever the current situation calls for, such as; an actor, location, line of dialogue, sound effect, etc.

Along the way, modifiers will come forth in the form of 'producer suggestions.' That's right; while us screenwriters are hard at work, a producer from on high will demand something totally extraneous and baffling be added to the current scene. It'll be our job to work it in as best we can!

Although you may provide serious answers if you'd like, keep in mind that the name of the game will be to have a good time and to create a hilariously bizarre and chaotic story full of contrast. A mixture of the macabre and the manic ought to do just that! If that sounds like your cup of tea, then come on in! The water's just fine. Keep in mind that for audience accessibility purposes, we ask that your suggestions not be too vulgar or profane (aim for a PG-13 level, though you can bleep/censor/imply certain things within reason).

This month's topic: Justice League! The heroes, villains, and locales of the DC universe are just waiting to be butchered, Hollywood-style.

Here's how it'll be laid out:

- Casting Phase: Each person will get the chance to cast at least one character; possibly more, depending on attendance numbers.

- Scene Phase: The first person will lay out the scene location and the characters within it. The next person's turn involves adding either a line of dialogue or a line of descriptive text. This will continue until we have 10-15 lines of dialogue/text and can move on to the next scene. Once we hit 15 lines, that person's turn will involve wrapping up the scene as abruptly as needed!

- Next Scene: Scenes will continue to play out as above until we reach some form of ending. As we approach 8:00pm, your host Michael will try to ensure we reach the end in a timely manner.

- Producer Notes: At the beginning of each scene, the producer will demand something be added to the following scene! At some point, it'll have to be introduced, even if it's the final line of dialogue/text! The producer note for each scene will be randomized out of several options.
