At a glance Jessica Womack would seem like every other retail working “girl next door”, but by night she becomes a quirky actor with a nerdy knack for cosplaying. Even though she is predominately a cosplayer, Jessica loves working with so many amazing people as regular co-host, convention panelist, and the resident cosplayer on The Legend of the Traveling Tardis Radio show.
She just recently got into fandom cooking over quarantine with a specialty of in-universe Star Wars dishes! When you can’t go to Oga’s Cantina or Docking Bay 7 in Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge you gotta bring them to you.
Jessica encourages others to try cosplaying and cooking, even if they don’t know where to start. For tips and inspiration you can find her cosplay photos on:
Melanie Dean is a Marketing & Creative Director with a background in independent film and theatre. Her passion for art has blossomed into a career as a portrait artist (with a concentration of figures in the sciences, tv and theatre). Her work has been featured in shows across the US and London.
When not painting, she operates Cake Arte, a small home-based bakery specializing in custom cakes and cake pops.
You can see Melanie paneling at comic conventions throughout the US and talk ‘Doctor Who’ on the podcast/YouTube production “The Legend of the Traveling Tardis”
