Step into the story this Halloween! Join us for a family-friendly cosplay celebration where book lovers can dress up as their favorite bookish or bookish-adjacent characters. From magical heroes/heroines to dark villains (and maybe even your favorite romance trope!), this event is the perfect way to celebrate Halloween with a literary twist.

🕖 Time: 6:30PM - 8:00PM
📍 Location: The Plot Twist Bookbar — Denton, TX

✨ Event Highlights:
Check in prior to 6:30 PM with FanExpo representative Charlotte, upon arrival
Bookish cosplay catwalk to show off your costume/character
Your cosplay will be judged by a panel of judges, who will decide on a first-place and runner-up based on creativity, confidence, and execution.

👻 Guidelines:
Age limit: 16+
Costumes must be book-related or adjacent (i.e, book tropes, scenes, characters, etc.)
Costumes must be family-friendly and modest
No real or functional weapons (props must be safe and clearly non-functional)
